The bald canary (see earlier blog), now 8 years old, has grown almost all the feathers back on his head, and is singing again as he did when he was young. I think it's senility setting in!
But, and this is just a thought, could this be the answer to a cure for human baldness? Transplantation of canary genes to stimulate hair re-growth?
"Well Mr Baldyman, the therapy seems to have worked. Yes, OK, the new growth is a bit yellowish and feathery, but nothing that a bit of Grecian 2000 can't deal with..."
