Rare noctilucent clouds at just before 1am in East Yorkshire. They are made of ice crystals and are some 70 km high so reflect the sun after it has set. Some believe the phenomenon to be linked to global warming and increasing pollution levels, and if that is true we may be seeing more of them in the future.
