Travelling to work (but not in my rear wheel drive car).  Cold outside (minus 11C).  Icy roads, and a frozen solid egg in the chicken house (but they still lay on!)

Winter's back - it's snowing again. What a surprise!!

Now the snow is definitely here to stay and getting really wearysome.

And there is no immediate end in sight. Is this part of global warning?

Bridlington :- no one at sea and as cold as it looks.

Winter came on 3rd January

And the snow did come, overnight on the 2nd and lasted until the afternoon of the 3rd, when it was replaced by rain and melted. Typical for the first day back at work after the holiday - why do most English motorists drive so slowly at the slightest sign of snow, yet are happy to drive at high speed over black ice? Today it's raining again, but at least not icy.
