Little and Large

Two keys, 16th to 18th century style, one a large iron door key, the other a miniature silver locket key. Their use is lost in history - who knows what locks they once opened?

17th Century Key

Not bad condition for 300 or so years old. Still seems to have some traces of its original brazing, which can date it, as this was not used pre- late 1500s. Would have been very expensive when new - wonder who's treasure chest it secured and what history it's seen? We'll never know.
